My name is Angela Goin and I have considered myself a full-time traveler for the last three years. I grew up outside of Portland Oregon, then moved to Arizona to pursue a degree in Business Administration. After graduation I worked my way through the ranks at a small insurance broker. I spent all my money traveling, and often came into work Monday morning with stories of hot air balloon rides, camping mishaps, and photos of my favorite landscapes. One Christmas, I had planned a camping trip to New Mexico. I had spent the day exploring White Sands National Monument when it started snowing. By the time I was trying to get through the mountain pass to my next campsite, I could barely see the road. I decided to stay at the next hotel I saw. Many other travelers had the same plan and by the end of the night we were all sharing travel stories, drinking hot chocolate, and building snowmen in the parking lot. All my plans had changed but it ended up being such an enjoyable night. By Monday morning, I was back at my desk and just knew that my soul was meant to be on the road. So I sold my house, bought a travel trailer, and hit the road.
